The Rights of Vulnerable and Marginalised Groups in South Africa

The Rights of Vulnerable and Marginalised Groups in South Africa
(Policy Brief No. 41)

CCR PB 41

This CCR policy brief emanates from three public dialogues held in Cape Town, on 23 April 2018 on “Ending Violence Against Women in South Africa: Disruption and Innovation”; on 22 May 2018 on “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex (LGBTI) Rights in South Africa: Equality and Inclusion on Paper Versus Practice”; and on 26 June 2018 on “Tackling Xenophobia in South Africa: The Search for Solutions”.  The public dialogues explored the extent to which South Africa's constitutional protection of key vulnerable and marginalised groups has been realised. The dialogues were hosted by CCR in collaboration with the Foundation for Human Rights (FHR).
