Public dialogue on LGBTI Rights in South Africa: Equality and Inclusion on Paper Versus Practice

The Centre for Conflict Resolution (CCR), Cape Town, held a public dialogue on LGBTI Rights in South Africa: Equality and Inclusion on Paper Versus Practice. The meeting took place on Tuesday, 22 May 2018, at 6 Spin Street, Cape Town, from 17h30 to 1915.

The dialogue was chaired by Razaan Bailey, Programmes Manager of the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation. The Honourable Zakhele Mbhele, Member of Parliament and of the Democratic Alliance (DA); the Honourable Deirdre Carter, Member of Parliament and of the Congress of the People (COPE); and Liberty Glenton Matthyse, Executive Director of Gender DynamiX, spoke at the meeting.
