Public dialogue on 'South Africa and the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) Bloc'

The Centre for Conflict Resolution (CCR), Cape Town, is holding a public dialogue on 'South Africa and the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) Bloc'. The meeting will be held on 16 February 2015, at the Centre for the Book, 62 Queen Victoria Street, Gardens, Cape Town, South Africa, from 17h30 to 19h00.

The event will be addressed by Dr Anil Sooklal, Deputy Director-General for Asia and the Middle East, Department of International Relations and Cooperation, and by Professor Patrick Bond, Director of the Centre for Civil Society, University of KwaZulu-Natal. The meeting will be chaired by Dr Kudrat Virk, Senior Researcher, Centre for Conflict Resolution.

The dialogue is organised by internationally recognised African think-tank, the Centre for Conflict Resolution, as part of a series of public meetings hosted by CCR that have become a fixture on Cape Town’s political and social diary.
