CCR’s Africa Programme is guided by a pan-African vision built around two synergistic pillars: the Capacity-Building and Training (CBT) project (formerly the Conflict Intervention and Peacebuilding Support [CIPS] project), and the Policy Development and Research (PDR) project. The Africa Programme is supported by the Communications and Outreach cluster and the Centre's Peace Library.
At the heart of any organisation is the welfare of its staff. CCR's Human Resources cluster is actively engaged in providing support to employees who come from all over Africa in support of the Centre’s pan-African vision. The Centre's staff and board are from countries as diverse as Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, South Sudan, and Uganda. Another key supporting role is that of the Finance cluster, whose work underpins all CCR's programmes and operations.
